Make your Claude or ChatGPT app production-ready
Whether it came from a chat, Claude Code or Codex, the app works because you kept prompting until it did. Production asks different questions: who can see what, where the keys are and what happens on a bad day.

Where Claude or ChatGPT apps usually need work before launch
- Code assembled from many chats, with no single place that explains how it fits together
- Real API keys pasted into code that started as a chat answer
- Endpoints that work on the happy path but never check who is calling
- A schema that changed in conversation but never in a migration file
- Nothing in Git, so a bad answer from the AI can't be rolled back
How do I make my Claude or ChatGPT app production-ready?
Work through these six areas. Tick what's already true: whatever is left open is where real users find problems first.
Tick what's already true of your app.
- 01
Security and secrets
In Claude or ChatGPT Code copied from a chat often had its placeholder key swapped for a real one. Move every key to server-side environment variables, and rotate any key you pasted into a conversation.
- 02
Logins and roles
In Claude or ChatGPT Chat-written code tends to cover the happy path. Check that every endpoint checks who is asking, not just the login page.
- 03
Database
In Claude or ChatGPT Make sure the schema, migrations and access rules exist as files in your repository, not only in the chat history.
- 04
Deploys
In Claude or ChatGPT Put the project in Git with a staging environment, so each new answer from the AI is tested before users see it. Small commits make it easy to see which answer broke what.
- 05
Monitoring
In Claude or ChatGPT Add error tracking and uptime alerts before launch. Then the next conversation starts from the real error, not a user's complaint.
- 06
AI and usage costs
In Claude or ChatGPT If the app itself calls Claude or OpenAI models, set usage limits and pick the model per task.

You get the truth, whatever it is.
If your app is in good shape, we'll tell you.

How do I move code from Claude or ChatGPT chats into a proper repository?
Create a Git repository, add the code file by file with a short README on how it fits together, and move every key into environment variables as you go. Add the database schema as migration files. From then on, each change from the AI is a reviewed commit you can roll back.
Is Claude Code different from pasting code from a chat?
Yes. Claude Code works inside your repository, so its changes land as files you can review in Git. The production questions are the same either way: secrets, permissions, data, deploys and monitoring.
Do I have to rebuild my Claude or ChatGPT app?
Usually not. Most AI-built apps need hardening, not a rewrite. We keep what works and fix what doesn't.
Who owns the code?
You do, from day one.
What do you need to start?
Tell us where you are. An app link or repo helps but is optional. Don't send passwords, API keys or customer data; if private access is needed, we arrange it separately.
Is it really free?
Yes. You keep the report either way, and if you don't need us, we'll say so.
Is this a penetration test or certification?
No. It's a production-readiness review of your app's setup, not a certification.
